Who we are

This website is run by Gin House Flowers Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11902166). Our registered office and shop are at 11 High Street, Histon, Cambridge CB24 9JD. You can reach us on 01223 656670 or info@ginhouseflowers.co.uk.

Placing an order

Add items to your basket, choose collection or delivery, then pay on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Your order is accepted once payment is complete, and we keep a record of it. All prices are in pounds sterling. Any delivery charge is shown in your basket before you pay.

Fresh flowers

Our bouquets and hat boxes are florist’s choice. Each one is made by hand on the day from the best seasonal stems, so it will be unique and may look different from the photographs. We always match your chosen value and colour preference, and if a particular flower is unavailable we use one of the same or greater value.

Collection

Collection is free during opening hours: Tuesday 10:30am–5pm, Wednesday to Friday 9:30am–5pm and Saturday 9am–1pm. Please collect at the date and time you chose in your basket.

Delivery

• We deliver within 10 miles of our Histon shop, Tuesday to Saturday. Next-day delivery is available when you order by 1pm the day before.
• Delivery to Histon, Cottenham, Impington, Oakington or Girton is £3, and £5 elsewhere in our delivery area.
• Local delivery is for flower orders.
• For same day delivery, call us on 01223 656670 and we will do our best to help.
• Please make sure the recipient’s name and address are correct. If nobody is in, we will leave the flowers in a safe place or with a neighbour where we can, and let you know. If that is not possible we will contact you to arrange another delivery or collection.

Changing or cancelling an order

Call or email us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. Because fresh flowers are made to order and perish quickly, the usual 14-day right to cancel does not apply to them once we have started preparing your order.

For cards, gifts and chocolate you have 14 days from receiving them to tell us you would like to cancel. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging (chocolate unopened). We refund the item price within 14 days of receiving the return. You pay the cost of sending items back unless they are faulty.

If something is not right

If your flowers arrive damaged or are not what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours with a photo and we will put it right with a replacement or a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Discount codes

Discount codes can be entered on the checkout page. Each code has its own terms, which we tell you when we share it, and codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
